In Loving Memory of Benito Chaidez

Benito Chaidez, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, in Delano, California, at the age of 92.

Benito was born on January 12, 1934, in Durango, Mexico. In 1980, he came to California, where he spent the next 40 years working in farm labor. He will be remembered as a hardworking and kind-hearted man who was friendly, welcoming, and cherished by those who knew him.

Benito is survived by his two children, Jesus Chaidez and Maria Chaidez; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to be cherished by his family and loved ones. His kindness, hard work, and loving presence will never be forgotten.
